Dr. Sunil Solanki

Clinic Director and Chiropractor

Dr. Solanki graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in England in the year 2000. He completed his Masters degree while there, researching Repetitive Strain Injuries. His first posting was in a sports clinic where he became team doctor for a professional English soccer club (Northampton Town) and for Oxford County Cricket Club.

Since returning to Canada he has worked in family practice. He has taken further training in numerous diverse topics ranging from spinal decompression to the care of babies for colic, treating children and seniors for various injuries and the treatment of TMJ (jaw) conditions and headaches. He is also trained in the fitment of custom-made Orthotics.

In 2004 he became a team doctor for the American Le Mans and Grand Am motor-racing series’. He travels to various races and works with drivers and crew to optimize their performance. In private practice he truly enjoys interacting and helping patients on a daily basis and aiding in their recovery and the maintenance of good health and the prevention of future injuries. He often speaks on prevention of injuries in the local community.

In 2010 he became clinic director for Altona Physiotherapy and Chiropractic. In 2021 he also became clinic Director for Church St. Healthcare. He is an active member and mentor for the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations.

When not working, he enjoys family time with his 2 children and Dumpling the cat, playing with his synths and drum machines and attempting to learn how to drive quickly on the race track!

Dr. Christina Wang’s treatment philosophy stems from understanding the biopsychosocial contributions to pain and discomfort. Dr. Wang provides individualized chiropractic care by incorporating manual treatment techniques such as spinal manipulation, myofascial release therapy, medical taping, and acupuncture along with active and individualized exercise to help patients return to feeling in-tune with their health and well-being. Dr. Wang studied Neuroscience at the University of Toronto, St. George and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She has been dedicated to helping people throughout her career and is known as a positive, enthusiastic, and driven individual.

Siri is a passionate physiotherapist who has been practicing since graduating from her Undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy in India in 2017. She strives to care for her patients using evidence-based treatment techniques, and is always looking for ways to expand her treatment knowledge. Siri specializes in using joint mobilizations, Mulligan techniques and exercise therapy for those with musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehab protocols, and paediatrics. She is also certified as a pelvic floor Physiotherapist. When she is not working, she enjoys dancing, cooking new and different cuisines, reading mystery novels, and of course spending time with her young son.

My psychotherapy practice, focused on youth, families and adults is all about working alongside other healthcare practitioners like chiropractors, Psychologists, massage therapists, etc. to achieve a ‘total care’ approach. I have over 10 years of experience in the field. My typical patient would be a young person who may be experiencing various mental health issue’s, anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, coping with grief/loss, or a family suffering from distress, conflict, abuse, or parental concerns. I welcome referrals and work diligently to earn the trust of my team members to achieve effective therapeutic outcomes.

Dedrie is a Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children and families to help them navigate the many life-challenges they face.

Her practice is based on the strong belief that prevention and early intervention are key to ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to be successful in life. She assists clients in identifying and addressing adversities they face in order to work on appropriate coping skills and problem-solving strategies.

With most clients, Dedrie employs a wide-ranging approach which brings in components of Trauma-focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Brief- and Solution-focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, but does recognize that there is no one-size-fits all solution and will work with you to find the treatment that serves you and your individual needs best.

She believes that by identifying and enhancing existing strengths, and working on building each individuals’ unique core competencies one will improve one’s social and personal relationships. Working with each individual to develop a comprehensive and tailored support plan in order to work on identified goals,

Jackelyn thrived in her training, emerging as a top student both academically and practically. Her internship solidified her commitment to addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction, helping her gain invaluable insight into treating acute and chronic conditions.

For the past eight years, Jackelyn has built a successful career in osteopathy, continuously enhancing her skills with advanced training in various different areas such as Craniosacral Therapy, Cupping & Guasha, Pediatrics, Reiki, and much more! She believes in the importance of combining various modalities because every patient is unique.

Her approach is grounded in the philosophy that the body is a self-healing, functional unit where all systems are interconnected. Shanice received an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology form Ontario Tech University and continued her education to graduate from Brock University with a Masters in Professional Kinesiology. She passed her College of Kinesiologists entry-to-practice exam to become a Registered Kinesiologist, and has been in practice for 2 years. In her free time, she plays and coaches competitive soccer with the Oshawa Kicks Soccer Club. When she is not active on the field or in the clinic, she is in her kitchen trying new recipes and learning new culinary skills.

Danielle completed her bachelor’s degree at Laurentian University with their School of Kinesiology and Health Sciences, Health Promotion Program. She also graduated with her Official Bilingual Certificate, French as a second language. Danielle grew up playing soccer and continues to play in Pickering and Whitby, and enjoys long distance running. A hobby and growing interest of hers is travelling the world and exploring new cultures. So far she has visited Switzerland, Italy and Greece, and one day hopes to travel to the Philippines. Within her work Danielle is always happy to share her knowledge and experience in exercise, rehabilitation, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Emily graduated from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA with a degree in Exercise Science and a Post-Baccalaureate in Health Sciences.  During her studies, Emily also competed at the Division I level as a team captain for Mercyhurst’s soccer program.  Throughout her athletic career she recovered from two ACL injuries which helped her build an appreciation for rehabilitation and importance of a healthy lifestyle.  Outside of work, Emily enjoys the outdoors, reading and traveling the world.

Gizelle holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and Information Technology and brings several years of experience in a variety of industries with a history of success providing exceptional customer service. She is committed to providing superior day to day operational and technical leadership on a variety of administrative matters and always works towards achieving optimal productivity and effectiveness for the clinic.

In her spare time, Gizelle likes to play recreational softball and volleyball, spend quality time with friends and travel whenever possible.
